Why does Slade always substitute a left back for a left back

Tue Feb 17, 2015 10:09 pm

No matter who is playing or on the bench? Tactically it makes no sense. Rarely changes the game, making little or no impact.

Because Malone got f*cking injured, what else could he f*cking do?

Malone got taken off as he got injured during the Blackburn goal

He was ready to bring on Harris before Malone got injured! Know your facts before you have a go

Sorry didn't realise that you have to go into this much depth.

But for;
• People who don't read posts properly.
• People who don't understand posts.
• People who are just sensitive about a manager who is way out of his depth.

Here goes;
Norwich 17th Jan - Malone replaced by John
Fulham 10th Jan - Malone replaced by John
Brentford 20th Dec - Fabio replaced by John
Rotherham 6th Dec - Connelly replaced by Fabio

I haven't bothered to go back any further so I hope that these FACTS are okay!!!

Makes sense if Malone was injured, I just find it frustrating that a defender is repeatedly replaced by a defender at key point in a game. Maybe try it once but repeatedly just shows ineptitude if it makes no impact.

it would help if you clearly stated you were referring to other games not just tonights in you're heading it appeared to refer to tonight, Natural asumpsion to think it was about tonights game! :thumbup:

It was in part in reference to tonight's game, but the headline does imply more than just tonights substitution.

In the Canton I couldn't see that it was Malone who got injured. I thought it was Slade employing similar tactics to previous matches. It just irritates me when people start ranting about facts when it seems that they themselves are oblivious to the whole picture. :thumbright: :ayatollah: :thumbright:
