Recently the whole team have been poor yet Whitts is always the one that gets slagged off
Whitts is highly regarded by fellow professionals
In recent times when we made the championship playoffs 3 years running and on the 4th year finally promoted to the premiership , Whitts was voted by the PFA in the championship team of the year on on three occasions during that spell
Four Four Two magazine regarded him as the best midfielder outside of the premiership
Whitts is Cardiff through and through and loves playing for this club but clearly he can't go on forever and needs a break
He may not be everyone's cup of tea as midfielder , and we all have our opinions
But some people on here can't wait to put the boot into him with some vile and nasty comments
At least they will be quiet tonight

Heard team in pub pre game, gutted as appeared 4-4-2 with Whitts & Gunner in middle & feared the worst.
But, have to say Whitts generally was excellent & Gunner was better than of late too!

Both were pretty shit again. Being bossed by an away average blackburn central midfield.

No threat apart from the wings. Whittingham tried one crap throughball to Doyle in the middle. First time I even seen it attempted in weeks. Literally weeks.
