The Western governments don't care about people - never have, never did - all involvement in the middle east has been for financial gain and control of who is in charge to ensure that leaders their comply. Those who've stood up have then been removed and this has led to further instability in the middle east. Governments only serve themselves and their own interests without a care for the likes of you and I. We're just disposable pawns in a political game of chess. If the government cared children wouldn't be getting abused in Rotherham, people wouldn't be forced to use food stamps, governments wouldn't lie to you in the run up to elections to get your votes and then renege on all those pre-election pledges as soon as they're in power and economics that endorse a race to the bottom (corporatism) wouldn't be adopted. People have turned a blind eye to the systematic child abuse of people in their own country in the name of political correctness. You really think they're going to give a damn about some Muslims in the middle east being killed? Naive at best.

Recently Parliament voted on whether to intervene militarily in Syria, our half wit Prime Minister wanted to aide the"rebels"who its transpired have morphed into Isis. Now if this bozo with all the intelligence at his disposal is so misguided as to wish to send British boys and girls into this barbaric malestrom what does that say about our leadership??? What is happening is sick but where are the Arabs in all this? Er.... nowhere !! Only now are the Egyptians getting involved it is their sick and vile religion which is ultimately causing this carnage funded by the Saudi's - who we arm by the way.Let them all bleed for Allah or whoever the whole Arabian peninsula is not worth the bones of one British Grenadier.

Booom spot on. Tony Blair Labour started this off with America by going into Iraq and then leaving it in the lawless state it is now in. Saddam was an evil tyrant but at least he kept those 6th century barbarians in check. Next Libya was helped by the Western world to free itself of Gadaffi and now it's in the worst position of unrest ever. Syria and Assad was an and still is an evil tw*t. But again he kept his savages in check. Now we are reaping what the west has started. And to make matters worse these Barbarians are being allowed to come and live here. Blair, Cameron, ETC are screwing with the world and us. I fear for my Kids and Grand children I really do.

Some good points made in this thread. Just look at Rwanda and Cambodia. Nobody gave a shit. It's terrible to think that such apathy exists. This whole thing is escalating and along with the Ukraine crisis, something is going to give sooner or later. Sometimes wonder what world I've brought my son into.
