I would like to see Kenwyne Jones and Eoin Doyle start tomorrow night
Russell Slade has switched his side around over the last few games following three consecutive losses and we expect him to stick to this for the Bluebirds midweek tie.
Monday 16th Feb 2015
Our chosen XI certainly have a lot of Championship experience, appearing in over 1,500 games and scoring 148 goals and assisting 132 during those matches.
Kenwyne Jones has done well in front of goal for the Bluebirds, netting 13 times in all competitions included two goals in the last six league games.
He is also the highest scorer in the last 20 Championship games for Cardiff, with 11 of his tally coming in the league this season.
Peter Whittingham (5) and Sean Morrison (4) have also contributed to the Welsh side’s league campaign this term, with the latter scoring the only goal against Fulham in the Bluebirds last win.
Whittingham has also once previously against Blackburn, netting during a 3-0 home win back in April 2013.
Although they are facing a strong Blackburn side, the Bluebirds are likely to find themselves netting this week with any of these players a good bet to get on the score sheet on Tuesday evening.

I'd go with...
Marshall
Peltier, Connolly, Manga, John
Adeyemi Gunnarsson
Harris McAleny
Jones Doyle
Not a fan of Morrisson or Malone, Whitts needs a break as he isn't performing, and neither is Noone

We only looked like scoring once Doyle came on and played off Jones, a must tomorrow night.

Gunnarsson and Adeyemi will tighten up the midfield, while the 4 up top have enough ability to get goals! All we need to do is get it to them, and get the ball in the box from some crosses, which we hardly ever see!

If he does not go two upfront tonight while watching five in midfield getting over run and winning no second balls for 45minutes like last Tuesday he's a complete wally. Pressing forward to get the ball would be nice to see to not this sit in our half and watch the other team pass it about for fun.

Slade has made very strange decisions with his team selections that it wouldn't surprise me if he finds room for Revell to start at the expense of either Jones or Doyle.
Will he finally drop Whittingham or Gunnarson ? - I dont think so

I think Ralls or Adeyemi should be selected tonight. Blackburn were a lot more physical then us when we played them at the start of the season so would be good to have a bit more muscle in midfield

Yeah the problem is we tend to get outplayed in the midfield whether we play with 4 or 5 players in there.
McAnely was completely wasted out on the left during the Brighton game though.

Yes but lets be honest slade plays long ball to Jones in hope the midfield pick up the second balls and attack but that is not working so to me playing two up makes sence, like you said we get over run with 4 or 5 in the middle so I'd play two, unless he supprises us tonight with different players playing in the centre for Whitts and gunner

a bit of research shows Trollope likes a 4-3-3 formation. i wonder if Slade takes his advise. if so id like to see
marshall
peltier, morrison, manga, malone
okeefe , adeyemi, whittingham
macaleny
jones doyle

I thought Ole was bad enough with his tinkering but Slade is not far behind with some bizarre decisions.
Not for the first time he dropped top scorer Kenwyne Jones when it was crying out for him to be played.
Then he started Jones & Doyle away from home but then dropped Doyle to the bench for the home visit of lowly Brighton.
I wouldn't be surprised if he started Macheda as the lone striker tonight!
