Mon Feb 16, 2015 2:15 pm

If anyone needs help appealing their football banning order after they have completed two thirds of the ban, please contact me and I will assist you...do not spend any money on this.

Cardiff City had 11 new banning orders in the year to 3 September 2014 taking the total still in force at that date to 93.

Ill give you my personal experience.

I was informed that I had to appeal to the court where the ban was issued.

Thought it was straightforward and eventually I was given a date and traveled up on the day and had duty solicitor who was at the court to represent me.

I had abided by the rules of the banning order and stayed away from Football, I had also handed in my passport (left
it at the station) and never missed a sign in.

Thought it was going to be simple but unfortunately for me the Magistrate decided that I should sit out the rest of my ban.

I cant see them overturning bans for the Chelsea set up especially with Euro 2016 round the corner.

Good luck though Wes.

All appeals have a great chance providing no breaches have been made during the period of the ban...been no problems so far with the Chelsea ones as far as I know....lads don't be put off applying, I will be able to assist you and do not spend any money on solicitors etc...

can i also add that people have been banned for the wrong durations.

I had a 7 year ban, no prison sentence, so when i looked into the dos and donts of the ban i found out that the max ban they could have given me was between 3 and 5 years due to custodial sentence. its between 5 and 10 years for a custodial sentence.

I immediately contacted my solicitor, went back to court and had it reduced to 4 years.

I also know of other cases like this.

yes there are regulations relating to length of time a ban can be imposed for...I have many pages of the legislation at my disposal, if anyone feels they have been hard done by regarding the banning orders of legislation surrounding the banning orders get in touch
