Signings that have gone from excitement to regret

Which signings over all the years watching the club have you been so excited about only to watch them massively disappoint?

I just saw Richard Langley's name and remembered that i thought we had signed a star player to rip up the league. Massively under performed for us, and probably ruined his career in coming to us.

Robbie Fowler. Mass excitement when he signed, apart from the odd game did fack all, or he was injured, was fuming about the way he left us as well. Also was really exited about signing Marcus Bent and Jody Morris, but they did the dirty on us and backed out at the last minute, luckily for us they did fack all afterwards anyway.
Others include Alan Lee and Langley and even further back Godfrey Ingram and I was also exited about the signing of Steve Lynex, as him, Lineker and Alan Smith had been prolific together at Leicester. Lynex had great comedy value, but he did fack all for us.

Completely forgot about fowler, but at least his best days were gone when we signed him.

Velikonja, Maynard,, Guerra,,, Cornelius,,,LeFondre. I was expecting at least 20 a season Each from all of these guys.
