It will show if we really are capable of playing against a team full of confidence and form. The fans on Tuesday really need to get behind the team. Considering that the table isn't really worth looking at until christmas, this is arguably the first game that is truly big in terms of the result all season. To stand any chance we really need to create an atmosphere! for the 5 minutes against brighton that there was half of an atmosphere, the players who were on the whole dire, showed some passion. The fans need to do everything they can! 1 league win in 10 and that one win was against fulham on our return to blue! need to start supporting the team rather than putting Slade under pressure because if Tan is going to sack Slade i think we all know that it is when he feels is ready!![]()

I do agree that we need to create an atmosphere but lets face it the majority of the fans who are going now are ones that would be capable of doing so as they are committed to the cause and would love something to sing and cheer about. It is very difficult to create any atmosphere with the football we played last Tuesday. I think even the most passionate of fan would be scraping the barrel to find something to get excited about. It works both ways and if we get effort and passion on the pitch you will get it in the stands now especially being back in blue.

Have said this on another post, the fans that are committed to watching that dross on a Tuesday night in such poor form are the fans who aren't in it just to watch football, I have no doubt an atmosphere will be created Tuesday night as was last week in the second half. We do however need some football as you have said.
