What do you expect KBK? Hes in a good team with a dynamic experienced manager! QED!

Is Lennon really that experienced?

He's a goalscorer and played correctly will get you goals, instead we played him on the wing or had him dropping deep to get the ball to feet and jumping to win headers against 6ft 5 defenders.

What's QED?

Well Lennon has played at the highest club level and did manage Celtic for 4 years so I would suggest it affords him more experience than Slade at higher levels of football.

My point is that he plays in a better team thsn we have under a better manager with a midfield unit which gives him the opportunity to do what he does best -score goals! Unlike the piss poor team we have with an appalling midfield which does not make near enough scoring opportunities for anyone and which is coached by a poor manager. A little bit like your point I guess!

QED = quod erat demonstrandum.

He is a good proven goal scorer at this level, he just needed a decent team around him :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Our management don't pick a formation and style to suit our players, that's why ALF, Whitts, Fabio etc are struggling.

Personally I think 3-5-2 is our best formation for the players we have, although my preferred formation in football is 4-2-3-1

I tend to agree with your formation but you also need the football quality too and I dont think we have too much of it. Fabio yes snd maybe one or two others but Im afraid too many of our players are either "has beens" or "never will bes"

Time to be abused.......

KJ is not good for a partner. I doubt he has played in a standard 442 since schoolboy football. He is a product of the 1 up front fashion and plays virtually the whole game with his back to goal so doesn't see any runs.

Never a great malky fan but he did know how to eech every bit of effort and talent out of his team. Whitts in the QB role was a master stroke, but wrecked him as a player.

I guessed that ole must have thought KJ would have been long gone after the summer, so bought players for a different philosophy.

KJ will be our saviour this season, but the sooner he is gone the better....

By the end of his time with us I thought it was good for him to go because we was ruining him. I was worries with where he was going though with Bolton being below us.

Hopefully Slade will be gone by the summer and ALF can come back firing ready for next season. A decent manager plays a formation to suit his side and not stick with a formation and try to force players into changing their game to suit it
