Can we find a Michu?

It amazes me that apart from the people from Norway under Ole, we have seen pretty much no attempt at finding foreign players.

All we do is buy British players or foreigners that are quite well known like Manga.

Why don't we try and find a Michu?.

Lets buy a Brazilian attacking midfielder for a few quid. Or a Spaniard for like 500k. I guarantee they'd at least try some different things to our current crop of boring players. Brighton have does this and they looked so much better on the ball than us.

The Spanish teams are skint to say the least. Lets try and pouch a few of them!.

Lets buy another Cornelius, another Kimbo? Nationality doesn't make them anymore quality than a British player

If its that easy and successful why doesnt every single club do it?

What players did Brighton do it with? 8 of their starting players against us were British. Brighton didn't impress me in the slightest tbh, everyone dominates us.

Kim Bo wasn't cheap. Cornelius was Scandinavian, as I said about Solksjaer.

Maybe Brighton weren't the best example, but they did look a lot better than us. They actually had the ability to pass the ball and control it.

Yes, nationality has a huge impact on how players play. The Spaniards in the English system make the British players look like a load of donkeys. Not always as effective, but ball skills they are easily better.

like the idea but I think it would be more suitable in the prem, I think the championship is more about players who know what the league is about, and grafters who put a good shift in, don't see much of these coming from spain ect.

I think Doyle could prove to be a "Michu".

A lot of foreign players struggle in the championship because it's probably the most physical league in Europe bar the lower leagues. We've just bought Doyle anyway he could turn out good... Although under Slade I think not.

If you go to Italy and look around for long enough then yeah of course you can find a Michu.
