" I'M HEARING "

Thu Feb 12, 2015 8:31 pm

Tan wants Danny Gabbidon gone.

Plus to everyones surprise you might see Scott Young on his way soon or put back with the kids.

Also Slade has been demanded his own coaching staff, which he asked for from day one.

This explains Paul Trollope then.

What difference will his own coaching staff do? He will still be the man to have the final say, and that will be the shit we're watching now

Coaching staff has a massive impact and I'm surprised he's not had his own back room staff in yet, hopefully Trollope will help get the team a bit more enthusiastic cos slade must bore the players near to death

Slade to be fair to him asked Tan from Day one, but Tan wanted to control his backroom staff.

Totally agree.

I don't see the point in gabbidon either.

Didn't dalman say last week that if slade wanted a number 2 the club would have supported him to bring in whoever he required.

Seems to me dalman doesn't actually want slade in charge..

I dont know? but Slade asked for Nugent from day one, then asked could he get his own and Tan wanted him to have Young/Gabbidon and its failed badly.

Tan should tell Slade to f**k off and bring in a whole new management team.
Get DJ in.

Yeah a load of new staff and RS gets sacked only because we won't be able to change the style of play quick enough :bluescarf:

Recently when dalman answered the burning questions. There was one passed to him which said about us considering bringing in someone to work alongside slade.

Dalman answered it with something like , I don't know, but if Russell slade asked or wanted to bring in someone alongside to help the club would support him in securing personnel.

In reading that full q&a. I didn't really get the impression that dalman wasn't a fan of slade and would be happy if he wasn't the city manager.

Honestly Slade was stopped from bringing his own coaching staff by Tan.

I was also told Dalman is def not a fan of Slades.

Dave Jones' successes were all down to Terry Burton. Jonesy was busy playing golf!

Well maybe the useless prick might get a Rugby kicking coach in to help with his long ball shite

Loved young as a player, will always be a legend after his goal against Leeds, but not ready to be a coach , assistant manager at this level.

Vincent Tan is as responsible as Slade for the dreadful performances. Restrictions on Slade's wish to have his own back-room team clearly has implications. Jeez, how long do we have to wait for our lunatic owner to finish his PhD in football management? :x

No longer a "legend" in my eyes, although he did start the demise of Leeds United and that cannot have been a bad thing! :laughing6:

Out of his depth (and he would have known that almost immediately), caused problems in the changing room and let personal feelings keep bloody good players out of the team!

When we talk about players haemorrhaging money from the club for doing little to improve things on the field, there can be none more culpable than Scott Young IMHO

Annis, surely if Tan allows Slades choice of number two to come in then surely that means we are further away to losing Slade as Tan would have to pay more to terminate a new contract surely?
Hopefully someone will come and will help Slade start getting results on the pitch as we are becoming more and more dragged into the relegation battle every week and something needs to change.
