It is true, it is happening. I woke up this morning after a good nights sleep, took a moment or two to fully wake up then realised..my team scraped a 0-0 draw with BHA another pretty shit side, I'm not a glory hunter but my team are better than this.
We had little money and begged and borrowed and bought from bargain basement under Jonesy's tenancy but the football overall was pretty good and at times excellent.
I can't for the life of me see this ever being the case under the current manager and his right hand man. Teams have their ups and downs I understand this but watching City now makes me feel numb, it's pure mental and physical punishment and is painful to witness.
It's my team I've defended them when local plastics have taken the piss out of us and I've worn my colours with pride for more years than I care to recall, but this season I have a feeling of helplessness and inevitability, we're going down the slippery slope quicker than I dare think about.
We're not a big club and have no right to expect a winning team year on year but this matchday experience is arguably the worst I can recall, yes we've been shit many times before but that was from a basis of mostly shit players, this squad is full of talent when compared to past teams from the dark days so why is the standard of play Scottish League One standard?
I wake up most days hoping it's a dream but no the City are sinking like the Titanic but the worst part is sinking without a fight.
