What do You Expect

Of course the attendance is going to go down

if we were challenging for a play off spot with some soul, then most would stil be going.

also, how many fans were really City fans when we were doing well in the championship and in the premier ?

Cardiff has had a lot of dire years where say man utd have had years of decent football and spent most of their time near the top.
So in the 80s most south Wales football fans supported other teams and passed this passion on to their kids
so although we gained thousands of fans, most were there to watch man utd liverpool.

if Cardiff were in the premier for 20 years producing good football, all these fans would be die hard City fans.

people who are not City mad will not pay money to not be entertained and for some that means premier football top 10.

Until City are top flight we will always have low attendances for this reason. Just like most other teams.

I could not care if we are in league 2 as long as we can play and show passion .. others want total success

I said the same in a previous post. History & the historic facts bare testimont to this matter of fact.

The last two or three seasons have been managed incompetently, both on & off the pitch, & after all the chaos that has been caused, is it any wonder that fans are leaving en masse?

Im also fed up of people saying that if we get relegated, then we would do a Norwich, or a Southampton.

Wrong,,, with the current set up, we would do a Cardiff!!!

I agree we can't go down simple as that it would be a disaster financially.

agree with most of this other than i think the majority want to see a team giving everything not about the success.. :ayatollah:

I think the team giving everything is what gets the fans making a noise and why they turn up

But, some will only go if we are successful.. like most clubs, that is why lower division clubs have 4/5 k compared to premier league clubs.

I will always follow City though, but in the past the buzz around football for all the right and wrong reasons made it easier to follow a struggling team
