My contract is up in next two weeks and wondered what is the best phone about.

I have the Samsung S4 at the moment and been very pleased with it so tempted with the S5 but always open to something new.

Not interested in Apple products though

i can highly recommend the motorola moto g. you could probably pick one up for £100 now or a cheap contract and it does most of what the more expensive phones do for a fraction of the cost.

i can highly recommend the motorola moto g. you could probably pick one up for £100 now or a cheap contract and it does most of what the more expensive phones do for a fraction of the cost.

I agree. Got a moto g 2nd gen. Cheap as chips and better than my old BlackBerry HTC and iPhone. Absolutely love it... Does everything you need, guaranteed android updates, looks good, a battery lasts the best part of two days and mine takes a hammering in terms of usage for work everyday.

I've gone through the bigger brands and after using this for past six months would never buy an over priced phone again. It really is spot on especially if you can get the 2nd gen version. Got mine from Amazon for about 125.00 I think.

Absolutely agree. It does virtually everything & it's fast.
The only downside really is the camera is average if that's important to someone.
I went into EE recently to see about upgrading & the guy virtually told me to keep it as it's such a good phone!

Mines up this month currently have s3mini (hate it now) heard good things about sony xperia z3 , capabale of 20.7 megapixel camera,long battery and if you have a ps4 you can sync it to ps4 and use the phone with your ps4 controlpad and play all ps4 games on there

I am tempted, just I know how to use the Samsungs and have the tablet, not that I sync them anyway. Will keep it in mind.
