Lets cast our mind back a bit .......
Manager Slade wants to give Bluebirds fans the chance to be singing ‘Merry Christmas Everybody’ after their next four Championship fixtures, saying: “The top six positions don’t change too much after Xmas and our aim is been to come out of the festive period in the play-offs.”
I gave my view before the Christmas period. Song for Russell Slade "Russell Slade is taking us down" to the tune of Santa Claus is coming to town". Although I did say that I believed we would just stay up cos of the points we had. And I sincerely hoped he would prove me wrong.
It was when he sold Daehli I totally lost faith in him. You built your team around young talented players. Yet he sold him even though he prob was on a realistic wage. He kept older players well past their best and spent most of the transfer window, (with the exception of a few later on) buying other older olayers past their best.
I dont like chopping and changing managers and I would have given OGS more time. But RS is worse than even I thought and it is now a stark choice do we sack him now or hope not? ?????
What happens if we are away to Wigan and losing badly.....by then it might be too late.......
