Marshall back in goal is a huge plus :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Mcalany looks a quality player ( shame hes only on loan ) :ayatollah:

We kept a clean sheet for the second time this year :ayatollah:

Slade is another step closer to the exit door :ayatollah:

We are a point closer to safety :ayatollah:

Not wishing to be rude to you,but if you can find anything to be positive about tonight's game, then you sir are delusional

If we dont find something we are going to get relegated, if the fans give up now it really is all over this season and we will go down .

Too many negatives to mention though!
Biggest one for me is RUSSELL SLADE . How can a guy who is called a manager pick one man up front at home against a bottom of the table side after putting two up top away against a mid table side?

Thomas, Did you actually watch that crap tonight?

The majority of the 13,000 fans left that match, not feeling positive at all,and I can tell you now,I never, I did say to Carl, watch some one take the mick and say this type of stuff.

Why were they booed off?

Why are the crowds getting less?

Why are we going down the League?

1 win from 11 games

83 minutes to have a proper shot on goal

I can't bring myself to turn up for the Blackburn game next week.

I took time off work to get there tonight. I cannot tell u one positive reason for being there. I cannot remember a time when the whole match experience was as flat and awful as that both on and off the field. We could have been there til midnight and still not created anything from open play... It's becme a chore to sit through that...

1. It didn't rain.
2.We didn't lose
3. The pies were warm
4. The beer was cold
5. I was able to catch up on my sleep during the second half.

Yes i did and it was awful . The point of the post is the fact that if we dont find something , anything positive and soon we will be in big trouble , even more than we are now .

If us fans give up totally we will be putting the final nail in our teams coffin, and in all honesty the clubs aswell because we will not come back from another relegation for a very long time if we go down .

now is the time to help the team not totally turn on them .

The positives i gave were mainly positives as a whole not the game itself .

I agree we could have played all night and not scored. I actually nearly fell asleep in the first half. Even if Brighton had left the pitch I still think we couldn't have found the back of the net. :(

At the end of the game, I clapped Peltier, because he came over to us fans and admitted they were awful once again tonight, I Respect players like that :thumbright:

I thought the crowd could of been worse after that 90 minutes of garbage.

On the BBC Wales the commentator said just before half time that's a relief only a minute of extra time.

Re: ' 5 positives from tonight '

Tue Feb 10, 2015 11:36 pm

I thought peltier had a go and I too was impressed by him coming over to us at the end. Kenwyn showed why he is our most important player it seems .... clearances and the only one even looking like he could score.

Something that occured to me is that in an effort to clear the decks Slade has brought in a left back who is no more effective than the other left backs ... and the one out on loan ... while keeping said left backs.

He has brought a forward in to hold the ball up ... when he has one that does that ... and score ... and kept him

He brought in 2 forwards from everton ... and doyle ... started one on the wing and the other on the bench whilst persisting with 3 in mid field brought in by previous managers .... who was it again that had no clue what they were doing building a squad?? Ole wasnt it??

Manga got some good work done but he wasnt really pressured much. We are just utter pants. No direction, first instinct is to boot long the second is boot back to the keeper. I watched Arsenal on TV the other day and in a passage of play from their keeper to the oppositions they passed the ball from the back and every single player had 2 other players making themselves available in more forward positive positions. We can barely string 2 passes together.

Same problems every week. Nothing changes so sorry that is down to Slade

The second half was marginally better, but that's not saying much. Thought we were going down with OGS, then Slade seemed to steady the ship, but now we're back in relegation trouble.

Did you all see when Whittingham lobbed it back to Marshall, who seemed to lose his rag, and booted it high anywhere?

The only bonus was a clean sheet.

At least they've got a week until the next game to sort it out, if they can.

We should gave had two goals both headers in each half? Morrison didnt commit himself enough with free header and put it wide! And late 2nd half corner free header in front of goal 6yds out but put it over! all had to do was put on target to score

I also think McAleney looks a quality player, yet when he starts trying to stamp his authority on the game and try to make something happen, Slade takes him off! Didn't make no sense at all. Slade did similar with Doyle up at Wednesday. Totally clueless!

Annis, there was NO CROWD after 90 minutes...or 85 minutes for that matter!

I'm always shocked that people can walk out early, particularly when the game can still be won or lost, but I'm repeatedly told that it is their prerogative and I guess that is so :|
