Totally agree with you Luke,I just dont see the point. Would love for some one to explain from the Trust, what they would achieve.without owning a major amount of shares?

But the main aim of the Trust with their approx 500 odd members/200 odd house addresses, many over seas is to ask/demand one of them on the Cardiff City FC Board? ? ?
Personally I see this as a total waste of time.
Why because they would have No say at all, as Steve Davies said the other day Steve Borley/Michael Issacs have No say at all, so what will they achieve?
If and I mean if there was anyone who should be Representing our fans, for me it would be Vince Alm from the Supporters Club, but funny enough, it does not even interest him.
We are not Newport County/Swansea City/Merthyr or Wrexham, where the fans have a massive say,due to them owning a large amount of shares in their Club.

The long term aim of CCST , as is the case with all football trusts , is to gain fans` representation on the club board. This is an aim supported by Supporters Direct UEFA and politicians from all main parties. How exactly that is structured in clubs where supporters are only a small minority of shareholders is open to debate but I am entirely sure that it will happen in my time (and I am an old bugger![]()
) because of those pressures to impose it on clubs if the don`t volunteer to do it.
CCFC have also stated that they are in favour of having such representation at our club and discussions as to how that can be put in place will undoubtedly take place soon.
As for tonight`s meeting the fan representative issue is not specifically on the agenda (although it might come under "fan engagement and communications"), but the club badge , season ticket strategy and club finances are the other issues due to be discussed.

I couldn't agree more. Now there's a first, Annis. Moreover, I also agree that if fans are to be represented on the board it has to be Vince Alm. Certainly no-one from the Trust would have my backing.

I think they would be better off trying to get regular dialog with the club and Tan
