' Brighton manager Chris Hughton says '

"Cardiff are similar to a lot of clubs that come down from the Premier League. They are finding themselves again, adjusting to life in the Championship.

"We have seen that with numerous clubs, your Boltons and Blackburns.

"They have still got a lot of players in the squad that were involved in their Premier League time."

The Seagulls head to Wales tomorrow night still two points and a place above the drop zone to face Cardiff, who are below halfway in the table following relegation from the Premier League last season.

He is totally correct, it's almost the norm to struggle yet any side that comes down won't accept this until reality kicks in. :bluescarf:

Agreed, Hughton talks a lot of sense and think he would of been a stronger candidate than Russell Madrid if we had an open invite like most clubs.
