These Kids are the future

Sun Feb 08, 2015 11:32 am

Not all doom and gloom, we have some decent young players at Ccfc. Ralls Harris adeyeme and john to come back in, impressed by Mc aleny and Moore is no doubt going to be a top keeper. It remains to be seen if Slade can get them playing together and actually have a game plan.

Who would like to see a team primarily made of the younger players playing for the remainder of the season? They will only benefit from the experience. :bluescarf:

Absolutely right. We need to draft these in quickly in place of the underperforming older players who constantly get picked.

you are spot on about the younger players but i don't think we should play them until we are safe from going down once we are safe then is the time to play them i think you do more harm than good if they start losing their confidence is going to hit rock bottom

Harris looks like a has a very good player inside him.

I dont think John, ralls or adeyeme are anything other than low championship/ league 1 standard.

Hopefully we have players in Healey, Johnson, O sullivan, Barnum bobb, wharton and amondarain are given a chance to step up and given a couple of games when we are completely safe from the drop, The kids then have a couple of games to earn a shot for next season.

I disagree. Harris has the balance of a giraffe and struggles to control the ball. I also think Adeyemi is very similar, if not better, than Mutch was at this stage of his Cardiff career. John is good enough to play out on the left wing.

Harris need nd to work on that first touch but imagine will improve, I agree with you on John and Adeyeme. But if you get 5 good young players out of say ten then we can move in the right direction. :bluescarf:

Harris (21) first touch is disappointing - Not promotion chasing stuff for me.
Ralls (21) has all the attributes and is still very young for a centre mid in a promotion chasing team
Adeyemi (23) - Not sure what he does apart from running around.....
John (19) He is a left sided midfield player to me- Needs a prolonged go in that role.
Nugent (21) Scared me to death in the promotion year, but that was 2 season ago
Oshilaja (21) seen him in U21 looks great
James (18) - Had that sub appearance against chelsea

Healey, Johnson, O sullivan, Barnum bobb, wharton, amondarain

Some good kids in that lot. We just need a fresh first team coach

Thats exactly what i think about Adeyemi, i think someone once told him he was a hard man, so he tries to rattle everyone, never been a roy keane, needs to concentrate on being a box to box lad, pass, move, support and track.

You're right there are some decent players there but nobody outstanding at the moment.
However, to play a team primarily made up of them all would be disastrous IMO. You always have to have a mix especially as where we are as a team at the moment.

Agree besides Declan John people keep saying change him to a left winger well that wont take a lot of work as
he is a winger and they are trying to change him to a full back so I think it is unfair to knock him as a left back as
he is not a left back

They are trying to give John a shot in mens football as a left back as its been decided by more than one manager now that he wasnt going to make it as a winger

I agree nobody outstanding but at least something to work with, they can only improve and while I agree that it's not a good idea putting them all in, our seasoned pros have left a lot to be desired.

They could be wrong. Looks like a wide left player to me. Not necessarily an out and out winger but a clever and nippy little player.
