Luke, It would be a miracle under Slade to catch up on 6th place.
I dont want to look at the bottom clubs, I am convincing myself theres no chance.
We just need to beat Brighton,Millwall,Blackpool and Wigan

Brighton, Blackpool and Millwall are ABSOLUTELY MUST WIN home games but where do we get the other win from?. Slade made much of our league position when he was appointed manager, 17th, but after 19 league games in charge we are just 1 point above that same position with the greater worry of only being 1 defeat away from a possible 20th position.
What is clear is that Slade has failed to galvanise our squad into achieving a level of consistency required to make a sustained move up the table. Despite having both Dalman and Choo to hold his hand at the pre match press conference this week, where he was given the dreaded "Vote of Confidence", I believe he is only a bad result away from being shown the door.
The problem then is who do we get because the thought of Scott Young being left in chargeAnything other than a win against Brighton is unthinkable in my opinion.

Saw the goals last night and I have to say our defence still looks very poor, Manga looked awful, slow and out muscled, very worryingNo doubts about it, we are going to be fighting in a relegation battle until the end of the season. We have not improved over the 19 games Slade has had, we are about the same, which for me us not good enough. I would not want to give this guy a summer in the transfer market. I hope Tan sees sense and brings in a manager and back room staff who know what they're doing. Steve Bruce is rumoured to be thinking of going to Fulham, so surely he would be interested in the job here or I would drop down for Phil Brown, who is a very good manager who should be managing at a higher level.

Sacking Ole and bringing in Slade in time will be seen as the right decision.
We all knew that Ole's team didn't have the bottle for a promotion campaign, the club senior management realised that Ole didn't the minerals to push the high earners out the club and prepare us for a second season in the championship under FFP rules.
If I was Tan- Slade has demonstrated he has the ability to manage the club, but his footballing nous is not there for the second tier of the top league in the world. In the summer i would restructure and make Slade DoF and get him to hire an up and coming first team coach.
