Highly rated player, in terms of potential. Must be injured surely?

We had Noone and Harris on the bench no need for another winger on the bench...

Neither of which have done much, in fact noone has done nothing. If fit then give him a chance even if it's from the bench.

Give him a chance on what? The fact others haven't done enough?
I hate the phrase just give him a chance if can't be worse. Of course it can.

Can only assume that Doyle and McAleny have shown more hunger in training this week, and Kennedy maybe struggled.

Otherwise, he may have thought Kennedy would have struggled with the poor pitch and Wedneday's style of play - especially being away from home.

Worth remembering we didn't play any natural wide players today. Slade obviously wanted a different approach, because neither Harris or Noone started.

Have we ever really played with width? First game under slade yes I'd agree but ever since we have become more and more narrow and defensive to a state where we are a mess.

I don't see the point of persisting with players who are contributing nothing. You either keep givIng players woefully out of form chance after chance in the hope one day something will change or you try something else.
The only way to see if a new player is worse is to play him. Otherwise why bother to even sign him if he's not perceived to be better than what we already have?
