Kimbo/Malky

Why would Kim have signed for Wigan if Malky was as bad as every one was making out? Especially considering what Malky said about Kim? Strange one for me. Wouldn't have thought Kim would be short of offers for a move away

Seem like Kim has no issues with Malky.

Just because Kim doesnt it doesnt mean its acceptable behaviour. Footballers are fickle, he needs a club and he has been offered one.

So Wigan got a 25 year old South Korean international with a lot of potential if he regains form, for nothing.

Great business for them

All I am saying is if players were treated as badly as made out, I don't think he would have went there. By saying this im not condoning what Malky did but I like to think it was just a mistake and he's learned from it. Also if it was proved that he didn't pocket money from any of the transfers I would love to see him back at City one day. :bluescarf:

Kim's agent supported Malky from the very beginning. Kim choosing to sign for Wigan to play under Malky again makes Tan look very silly to say the least. I think Malky will get Kim firing again too.

I always felt Kim's best position was just behind the front man. It's where he played so well for us when we won the league. It's where he did the damage to create Gunnarsson's goal against Man City. It's where he used his energy and pace to drive Southampton on the back foot to help us win there 1-0. But we refuse to play him there and have Noone at the tip of our diamond instead! Malky will play Kim there mind and Kim will get back to his best. Malky knows how to get the best out of Kim.

Maybe Kim's got a sense of humour. Maybe he texts his mates calling us milky bars. Everyone knows it wasn't malicious and Kim's obviously being mature about it

Totally disagree, comes across as a racist bully to me.

But it's OK it's banter to some

Surely Kim wouldn't be so keen to play for Malky again if he was a racist bully?

People go where the money is, just because Kim can deal with it that doesn't make it right.

I think we all know that Moody was the main culprit and Malky rather stupidly and wrongly went along with it. I don't accept this 'it was all private texts' as any sort of excuse and before someone says 'its ok as we all do it', no we don't.

If I was Kim out of principle I would have stayed away from Malky but its his choice and no doubt he was influenced by how well he played under him and who knows perhaps it was the best offer he had. Can't help feeling he will soon be experiencing 1st Division football under Malky though

i love the way we only see the world in our western liberal mindset......... I am sure Kim is not as sensitive as some on here all most on ccmb.

biggest shock for me is seeing he is full of "potential" at 25 and supposedly has the world at his feet, he went to a northern backwater on the slide.......Perhaps he is not that good for the salary he probably demanded and needed to go to a manager with a history of paying well over the going rate..........

agree with you, the comments of his apologists on here show its just symptomatic of many peoples attitude to work based racism. on a footballing level its a good move for kim, he must have accepted another of malky's 'sincere' apologies i suppose!
