I've been saying it for ages but this game will be the turning point and our climb up the table begins, five new faces to start tomorrow who will be giving it all for the shirt I hope with the two young loan players on the bench.

Hope we do it might prove that the players he had were not giving there all,but saying that slade has got to be more tactical and pick the right team and sort the midfield out thats the problem.

Hope you are right but I think we are all going to be disappointed, can't see us getting anything from this game based on what we've done away from home during the last year. The new players will need a few games to gel, so we may need to have a bit of patience and give them time to really get their act together. This season is about avoiding the bottom three, and I think we can just about do that with the players here.

Sheff Wed will win comfortably. Quite sad the way some of us still desperately cling to some vain hope that slade will turn us around. We are a rudderless shambles.

Spot on. Even up until recently a lot on this forum thought that we could still make the play offs! It's great being positive but I cannot see how many ignore the obvious drop,dire, abysmal football that we have been playing for months.Certainly a reality check. What gives them hope that Slade can turn it around? I have not seen any glimmer of hope. We have signed a few new faces but the quality in the squad has also gone backwards.

I will be happy if we stay in the Division the season and hopefully start afresh next season.
