Not good for Newport County

Thu Feb 05, 2015 8:24 am

Newport manager Justin Edinburgh is wanted by Gillingham as their new manager subject to compensation being agreed.

Edinburgh wants to go as well, he led County from the Non league in to the league.

Too good a manger to be there me thinks. Limited resources available to him and he has done pretty well. Though, could not give a flying f*k about those jack/scouse loving shell suit wearing, half Bristolian inbreeds from up the A48. Shite club, shite town - F*ck em.

County dont get the support they deserve. The local public dont get behind them enough, and they should. They play good football under Edinburgh and i think he is going to become a cracking manager. I think Newport as a city has had the shit kicked out of it over the last few decades. To be fair the new plans and developments are pretty impressive though. Yeah it is a rough and tough old place, but so what. People dont take liberties in the "port" and get away with it.

I think their story of coming back from the dead is remarkable. I'm not a County fan but i do have respect for their fans who rebuilt their club from nothing. Its their club, their club who they can identify too. Just saying like!

I wouldn't have minded Edinburgh for us. Instead of Scott Young maybe.

You think he would finish the great job that he`s doing

Get Newport up this season and im sure an even bigger or better club would come in for him,

Seems a top guy
