Guerra, Brayford & Cala I would have kept

Brayford and Dæhli. Guerra, alright, but I hardly saw him play. Would have liked to see more of Burgstaller though.

Daehli for development. I felt he was good but not first team yet. But unfortunately he needed firt team football for his career. Un winnable situation.

Brayford I liked but his heart was elsewhere.

Le fondre and Guerra are still our players and I hope both eventually come back

Doubt Guerra will come back.

If Guerra can start upfront for Malaga after so much time bench warming here, then Cardiff have made a major error in the way they treated him.

Only John Brayford, but his heart is at Brammall Lane. Always did his best for us, and wish him well.

The only player of those who done anything for us this season was Brayford. So maybe would have kept him, but he wanted to go to Sheff Utd. So knowing that I wouldn't have kept any. The club is more financially compatible in relation to our income now. We are down approx 6,000 fans per home game so far. Which equates to about £4m a year.

Brayford and Dæhli without a doubt but in the end, they both wanted to move on and good luck to them. I'm also looking forward to seeing RS's how new signings shape up and will be right behind them. However, like many of us who follow closely, I saw enough of RS months ago to realise that he's not the man for us. I hate all that ITK guff but from what I've heard indirectly, I get the impression that he doesn't think he's going to be around here for very long.

I would have kept:

Kim
Brayford
Guerra
Daehli
Burgstaller
Ravel

With these we might be looking at the play offs, rather than a relegation fight. And yes, there are some still here who I would happily ship out!

Re: " Would you have kept any of these players? "

Guerra, Daehli, Morrison and Kimbo

Re: " Would you have kept any of these players? "

Wed Feb 04, 2015 11:06 pm

Mats Dæhli, Revel Morrison and Juan Cala

Gutted we didn't see more of Guerra or Daehli :(

Re: " Would you have kept any of these players? "

Wed Feb 04, 2015 11:07 pm

I also would have kept Gary Medel

Re: " Would you have kept any of these players? "

Guerra and Daehli for sure.

Brayford I would add but Peltier had a really good debut.

Re: " Would you have kept any of these players? "

all of them with good tactics. perhaps not all on the pitch at the same time.

Daehli, Le Fondre (who's coming back anyway) and Brayford. The rest I don't care about.

Guerra.

Wish he'd had more pitch time.

Might be some legs in this - mind you, a rational man would think that looking at our managerial merry go round these last 12 months or so, and the 'hands off' running of the club from the other side of the world. Add in the fact that Gary Johnson, just sacked at Yeovil, was one of the longest serving managers in the FL with just over 3 years' service there

I know in wider management you can sometimes get in a bloke to "sort things out" for a period, then when he's created all the fuss and sacked a load move him on and get someone in for the long term who calms things down.

Or perhaps its as simple as the club expect him to get into the play offs, and he's thinking "yeah, right, I'll have 2 of whatever you boys are on, cheers".

What does your ITK source think of that chief?

forgot to say, I thought Brayford was a cracking RB but as others say, his head was elsewhere and we got decent money for him in that case.

Daehli I couldn't see working for us, wasn't especially concerned one way or another so again we got decent money I think.

Like others would have liked to see Guerra more, but we didn't and we can't change history, so best get rid and move on.

The rest - goodnight Irene.

Brayford, Daehli without a doubt, Guerra would have been given a chance as well.

Kim would have depended on his wages to be honest, I think he can be an asset in the right formation.

I'm taking into consideration how much we got for those we sold

I would have kept

Daehli
Kimbo
Burgsteller

Re: " Would you have kept any of these players? "

Daelhi and Guerra. Would have kept brayford as well but he seemed to want to leave so probably for the best.

Mats Daehli, Ravel Morrison, Juan Cala, Javi Guerra, , Adam Le Fondre, and John Brayford are amongst those who have gone.

Dhaeli - Doesn't suit our formation
Ravel - sounds a right muppet
Cala - should have kept him and not signed Morrison
Guerra - our biggest mistake
Kim - doesn't suit a 4 man midfield, should have got a fee though
ALF - Shouldn't have allowed him to go to a relegation rival while paying 50% of his wages
Burgstaller - never given a chance
Velikonja - should have been released years ago
Brayford - head elsewhere and Peltier looks a decent replacement

I would have kept Hudson and superkev never mind those lot. Top championship defenders and priceless to the team spirit.

Hudson should have definitely been kept. A real leader next to manga with Cala and Connolly as back ups. I would never have signed Morrison
