peoples judgement on players and slade

Its game of opinions i know. But some of the comments on this forum on players past and present and managers makes me chuckle. I used to think it was the sky generation but ive come full circle to the theory you are all brainwashed on top end football. A lot of current fans young and old lack a football education. We have become Happy clappers and go with the flow of opinion rather than sound understanding. So make some noise and support the boys.

Im afraid the rebrand is still clouding peoples judgement of other things going on within our club
problem is they need something to justify there hatred of tan
first it was we want our colour and badge back
then it was dont sack mackay
then it was sack ole
we got our colour back
now its sack slade
and debt to equity
and selling players
and buying sub standard players
all the above are tans decisions and some cant except them
cant wait to see whats next

Sorry mate but my critisism of him is ABSOLUTLY nothing to do with his name. I welcomed him and hoped he would do the business like the majority of fans did but after witnessing his tactics and style of play I don't believe he's the man I want in charge of my team. I never boo or jeer at the ground and always sing my heart out home or away so I'm entitled to my opinion without being labelled a 'sky generation'. Our discontent is made on football knowledge, the knowledge of our dire form and yes I know it's a difficult time for any manager to be at this club but maybe after a few more bashings you will come around and use your football knowledge to understand where I'm coming from. I hope he proves me drastically wrong now his team is built but that's my heart talking not my head.

I have criticised slade...because at 53 if he was any good he would have been in the championship years ago...his tactics are stale...he plays people out of position..he cannot seem to motivate the players the football I have watched has been absolutely crap..

Now to examine my football knowledge...I am 59 I have supported city since the 1967 season... I have played welsh league football and stopped playing competitive football at 45 I have played alongside a number of ex professionals and have what I believe is a reasonable knowledge of the game.

I pay my money and I am entitled to my opinion... now before you go accusing the majority of fans young and old of being a Sky generation what are you basing your knowledge upon?

I appreciate your opinion and I will support city no matter what ...but having some of the football over the last 6-8 weeks
people are entitled to moan..my undying opinion is Slade is not good enough..if the players were showing passion but still getting beat I could accept that ..but they are not putting a shift in

you missed the point totally can you not see that it doesn't matter what tan does some fans still hate him eg if he signed messi or bale ,those fans would moan there too expensive or there wasted in our team etc .I don't roll over I supported back to blue 100% by going to games in blue home and away ,im not supporting tan over people of Cardiff ,but I can see some positives where others are totally blinkered a bit like you ,sorry if my opinion is different to yours ,but I don't just roll over and except what I don't believe I voice my opinion ,just like you

Don't you think Tan is the cause of most of this?
He unsettled the club. Rebrand, stupid comments and his pathetic vendetta against malky have all brought the club into disrepute and made it a laughing stock, divided fans and driven many away.
The constant stupidity of Tan has distracted people from the football (both fans and players/management).

Yes I have no problem with your opinion. What I don't agree with is you, lagoon and a few others constantly generalising our fan Base because of what we think. I'm not blinkered I know what tan has done for this club but your right I can't appreciate it because of what we've become as a result and same goes for many other fans

for me,i couldnt care who he is .....just that he performs .....sadly russell slade isnt performing and doesnt seem to be learning from mistakes....not the sign of someone good at their job....

Done nothing this year since that injury.

He's been worked out by so many people

That's his role to skin people but he can't even do that these days

I hope he gets playing better but ATM he's not doing well and nothing like he was before
