This was one of the trips that I was 100% certain on going to. I thought that Hillsborough would have been a rather appealing trip to do for City fans :sad1:

Most people went to see a new ground rather than watch cardiff play, our away followings have been poor for a long time

Course they would, man utd away is different to Shef weds in championship. It never makes a difference to me who we play but it's been done to death, all fans are different. A 1,000 would be good considering our dire football and record away last 18 months. :bluescarf:

Exactly my point! Don't mind watching rubbish football in the prem but not rubbish football in the championship . How pathetic. Does that sound .

And yeah course it would be, but we should be getting higher away crowds, don't stop because the footballs rubbish how silly does that make people look. Only come when we doing ok

Nothing to do with the fact we have played Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough almost every season for the past 10-12 years mind is it whilst have played Utd at Old Trafford what, once in 40 years

Can you honestly blame people for not wanting to spend £100+ on an away day jaunt they have done over and over again.

And before anyone pipes up saying support the team wherever they go, good on you for being able to afford it, not everyone
can so will pick and choose.

I didn't go away once in the Premiership, might pick one between now and the end of the season. Most of the grounds were new ones for a lot of fans last season, everyones probably been to Weds before. Approx 600 will be decent away support for us at the moment IMO.
