Conor Mcaleny

Ive noticed no1 seems to be mentioning him on here. People going on about super revell to be paired with doyle up front but why? When we got an everton prospect with us now who got offered a new contract by martinez at everton so he obviously got talent.

I would pick him over revell and even jones to be put up front with doyle anyday.
Hes got something we are missing and that is pace and guile and he is a good finisher too. I would put him up front alongside doyle or play him as number 10 in a 4231 formation then we will look dangerous in attack imo..

Nobody knows who he is, I doubt we have anyone on here that watches the toffees reserve games.

Nobody has a clue about what we have with him. He prob has a little bit on YouTube but my dead grandad could get offered a contract if people went off youtube clips

Well i seen him on youtube scoring 2 good goals against us for brentford to years ago, and seen him playing for everton in the europa league at the start of the season and he looked a good player and sharp. Martinez and everton think highly of him he could turn out a great signing for us

He could well turn into a great signing, but we personally dont know as most fans have seen nothing of him. I dont think a world class scout can judge a player on youtube so a common fan has no chance.

Lets just let the kid go on without people who have never watched him live hamming him up into something he isnt at the moment.

Yeah cornelious looked class on YouTube too!

Not saying he isn't a good player can't comment as I don't know him but how you can say start him ahead of our top scorer is beyond me

Fair enough i know what u r saying i think he needs to prove himself first but i think he could offer more as a whole for us as a team with his pace and is a more creative type striker forward than kenwynne jones. Just saying i think he could turn out to be a really good signing but will need to prove himself first.

Yeah hopefully mate we need some creativity desperately. In the middle of the park more than anything, since whitts dip in form we've been seriously lacking creativity

I expect just a few cameo's from him.

Yeh your right nubbsy, thats why i suggested maybe mcaleny can play the number 10 role instead of whitts and give us that spark and creativity we are crying out for..

Rydog just a few cameo appearances you sure? What would be the point in him coming here on loan and i dont think everton would appprove of that either and surely would have spoke about him coming here on loan to play regular football and not sit on the bench and have a few cameo appearances what would be the point in sending him here if thats the case?

Because he will be the 4th choice Striker behind Doyle Jones and Revell in my opinion and will just be an option from the bench just because it's a loan doesn't guarantee he will start.
