Everyone had hopes for it

Beginning of the season everyone was saying about the squad weve got and how we should go straight back up to the premiership. What a wake up call its been with on the field and off field issues. If we can survive this season and stay in the championship i think its mission accomplished because its going to be hell off a ride into May from here on in ! :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

I truly believe even now, with that squad we would have got promotion back to the Premier League. But, that would have only been achieved if we had of had an experienced Championship manager, rather than an inexperienced manager in OGS. Even when OGS left, we still had an opportunity to have salvaged our season, because if we had of appointed Tony Pulis - who was out of work and wanted to come here at that time - instead of that joker Slade. I honestly think with the squad we had when OGS left plus a few additions and a few leaving, Pulis would have at the very least secured us a play off place, perhaps even better, by the end of the season. Not us though, we appoint a League 1 manager who has no experience of football above League 1 level and a manager who was literally days away from getting the sack by his struggling League 1 team. Great piece of business there Tan, now I can see why Russel Slade had the nickname of "The Jose Mourinho of lower league football". Don't forget we're Cardiff City we have to do things the hard way. It's always been the bloody same, whoever is in charge of us.
