Is he the same player? No. Would I take him? Yes. Exactly the type of fiery player we could do with in the team to galvanise the younger players and get the fans going. We've been missing a player like that for a while and he has the experience behind him as well. I'd offer him a pay as you play deal to be honest although I suspect others might be thinking the same elsewhere.

Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has left New York Red Bulls by mutual consent and moved to China.
Cahill helped lead Australia to the Asia Cup last month and has decided to end his stay in MLS.
And he confirmed early on Tuesday morning Australian time that he would be joining Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese league.

He could still play in the premier league. An amazing player with a couple of years left in him.

He would never come to the current cardiff City setup though as he isn't retarded.

Isn't he about 35? I think it's one of those he's been gone a while and build him up bigger than he is, I think the championship would swallow him up these days, I don't think fast, kick and rush football would make him look anything but poor.
