That we have gone backwards since the sacking of Ole.
Although we were in a similar position in the table, before Ole got sacked, the thought of a relegation battle really didn't enter my mind.
Now however, it seems inevitable. Not only have the results been poor, the football on display has been worse. Russel Slades post match interviews are becoming increasingly cringing to watch, with the same excuse and responses being blurted out every week. Myself personally, I have lost all confidence in Slade, granted this isn't an easy job, and it appears he's been told to cut the wage budget/offload players, I see only going in one direction, and that isn't towards the play off's.
Where we do we go from here?
Personally, I can't see Slade getting the sack this season. I think we're just going to have to weather the storm and see what happens. Wether it be championship or League 1. It will have to be a fresh start (again). New manager, new staff, new players (again) and start building for the future. We are, and have been, producing some quality players through our academy and they aren't given a chance.
I just can't wait for this dire season to come to and end and hopefully start building for the future next year.
New manager, new staff, new players, and a new philosophy.
What do you guys think?

Totally agree on Slade. His run now is far worse than Ole's.
As concerns relegation "inevitable", that is perhaps too strong a word to use, but it is a serious risk, as McClaren stated.

I dunno mind. I've seen nothing to suggest that we are going to improve.
If we were playing decent football, then I'd perhaps think well we've just been unlucky in results.
But stats don't lie, I think we are gonna get dragged into a relegation battle regardless. And I don't think our players are up for the fight.
Just my opinion.
