' FEBRUARY '

Perhaps the month that will be our most defining in the last 10 years.

Going into January I did not expect much from it. We had a very difficult fixture list and a team under transformation. The question being asked was how far nearer the relegation places will we be. For me that question was going to be answered by how well the teams did below us. Were there going to be 3 teams perform worse than us so therefore keeping the gap between us the same.

Have a study of this below. I have collated the teams below us and there points after Dec to what they have now.

As you can see only 2 other teams have done worse than us this month. That would put us in a relegation if it was not for the fat we took into the fixtures.

Of course we had a horrific fixture month in January so I suppose we should include February fixtures in this which by all accounts look easier, if you dismiss the no game is easy saying. That should balance it out and give us a fairer picture.

As I said at the start about this being a defining month. If we have the same return as we did this month the writing is in this thread. We will go down.

Brace yourself for some month coming up.

Would I be surprised if we went down? Not at all.

I think we are already relying upon 3 teams having a worse run of form than us in the next 17/18 games.

Personally? I'm shitting myself! I think we are headed down. I can't see us putting a string of results together. Not sure about you boys?

Saidvin earlier thread we have played most if not all top 6 teams so hardly surprising lack of points! Feb is more crucial?

February is going to be defining.

We say top 6 we have just played but what game is easy in this league. Lets remember we lost against Millwall and Blackpool already.

Thinking more the fact we were in transition while playing them! Not in transition now so optimistic be in better position by end feb?
