Just back on the train.
Shocking today, hard to watch at times. No passion from the players, and it doesn't look good. Just seven points off the bottom three tonight, and we're in big trouble.
But who was your man of the match?
Alex Revell for me
48 hours to vote, and once this vote ends there will be the January Player of the Month vote

Revell ran a lot and Moore's save for the pen was outstanding but Lee Peltier was the only player who actually played well for us today in my opinion.

Alex Ravel by a country mile won every ball and gave 110%

Ravell is incredibly average. Runs around, wins a few headers. Kenwyne showed him how do it within 2 minutes of coming on.
Peltier for me. Tenacious & has a good bit of dog about him but again absolutely nobody shined.

"wins a FEW headers" Few? You'll find that he's won the second most headers (2nd to Gestede) and covered the most distance in the whole Championship.

Steve , I nearly gave it to him,but I gave it to new boy O'Keefe for his first 45 minutes
Sat Jan 31, 2015 6:50 pm
Could be peltier but O'Keefe for me never stopped moving about looking for a pass, just goes to show the shit ole left behind is not up to it

Peltier

Yeah but does f**k all in the game that counts. Stats like that mean nothing half the time. Le Fondre was non stop but it means sod all if there's no end product.
Why he started before Jones is a mystery to me & everybody I've talked to.

truthfully imo its not slades signings letting us down its the overpaid prima donnas
the worst three players on the pitch were noone ,whitts and gunnarrson again

Hear hear steve its the shit past managers left behind who aint up for it, i was watching noone and whitts today they was looking at eachother instead of moving about to get on to our throw in, it was shocking tbh:thumbup:

its got to be in there contracts that they have to start as there is no other reasonable explaination

It does make you wonder

Craig Noone, I just don't know what's happened to him, not just today but all season, not capable of beating a defender due to lack of pace, haven't seen him win a tackle all season and crossing as highlighted today by the one at the end the quality is poor at best.

Stats like that aren't meaningless when they prove that you are wrong. I didn't mention if he did anything. You said he wins a "few" headers, and I said he wins a lot of headers, which is 100% true.

only the players that slade has brought in seem to give a dam

For me, Nobody deserved MOM today. So won't be voting on this one, if he had been brought on earlier though, probably
would've been Jones
Sat Jan 31, 2015 8:44 pm

I put Moore only as I don't think no one else served it .
New signings all played with abit of pride
I think they should think who they are playing for
We will respect hard working players who play for the team
Haven't got respect for the players who can't show abit of passion and fight
Sat Jan 31, 2015 8:52 pm
Lee Peltier for me but O'Keefe came a close 2nd
Sat Jan 31, 2015 9:03 pm
O'Keefe had a strong debut, battling no-nonsense type of player who did his best to provide impetus to a static midfield but I gave my vote to Simon Moore.

So what this Poll definitely shows is that Slade is the man when it comes to his acquisitions as all his signings are the leading players in this vote!!
Sun Feb 01, 2015 7:49 pm
The top 3 in the poll are all the new players !! Hmmmmm and a fooking Hmmmmmm
Mon Feb 02, 2015 12:13 am
Moore because of the penalty save I guess, revell tried, peltier and o keefe tried
yet again for the thousandth time the worst players were whitts, gunnarsson and noone
Its getting really tedious to watch these 3 now
Mon Feb 02, 2015 7:20 am
Lee Peltier wins.
Mon Feb 02, 2015 11:28 am
I got this week's badly wrong, well done Lee Peltier
I'll put up the January POTM when this poll officially ends.
