It's done to ensure the most up-to-date and/or pertinent topics are easily locatable for the majority of AAMB Forum Members who don't want to have to trawl for the latest news/discussions
I know I certainly appreciate it when I get home after a long day and want to catch up with the important things going on at the club rather than having to trawl through some of the crap that is posted and I know many who feel the same

Weve been doing this for well over 5 years and I rem 5 years ago this same type of topic was started and we were told the stickies would fail, well they have not and thousands read them every day and they have proved a total success![]()
Fans come up to me down the City and say every day we look on the forum and love the stickies as everything we need to know is there, we might not post, but we all read them![]()

A strange thread but the Stickys have been reduced.........
Also It's the same for some having to trawl through the stickys just to read the board.
If a thread is popular it will stay towards the top of the page due to comments.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that it is well run, lively, Cardiff-based banter by and large. Annis and the mods deserve a lot of credit for this. just saying.

Not strictly true. After every match some of the moderators create their view on the match and sticky them before they have even proved popular. These are the things i disagree with.

Ive been reading this forum since its inception. Im not attacking you just replying to Gavin that he is wrong about stickies not involving peoples personal opinions. I appreciate the offer to put my opinion as a sticky but that would compound the issue and not solve it. It would just mean that i will then be the author of the stickys that i disagree with being up there.
Nobody is suggesting the forum is is run badly just that there are a few too many needless stickies. Thats all. If we thought the forum was run badly then we wouldn't be here.
