Transfer Embargo

Could the court case with Langston result in a transfer embargo? If the answer is yes, it might explain the haste in getting rid of some players without transfer fees while trying to reduce wages.

Why ?

Transfer embargoes are usually for clubs in administration, subject to winding up proceedings, non payment of "football" fees (e.g. transfers) or breach of FFP.

I can't see that Langston is anything more than a private loan and, at £6m, a pretty small one in the scheme of things.
