After the Dragon leaves the castle, the people of lake town see a threat coming, the orcs, dwarves, elves and people prepare for war. Bilbo sees Thorin going mad and tries helping everyone. Meanwhile, Gandalf still needs to break out of the orc prison.

I thought the 1st Hobbit was poor.

High expectations though as Lord of The Rings was never going to matched.

I went to watch the 3rd one the other day though. Hadn't even seen the 2nd.

Completely back on form! Great entertainment.

It got me in the LOTRs mood and I've watched others since.

As much as I enjoyed Lord Of The Rings, I find this stuff just a little bit far-fetched. I mean, talking trees?! C'mon.

see i enjoyed the hobbit more than LOTR's....absolutley loved number 3, especially the dwarvan army start charging out. great film. and inbetween the end of the hobbit and Lotr alot of the hobbits died, in the cave from lotr 1 where the balrog monster fights gandalf

What a film had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

Whereas the 1st 2 films built up the story, the 3rd Hobbit movie is a far more action packed event. Really enjoyed it.
