Annis, This is great to hear. Up The City and let's kick some ass! We have a decent squad and I think after Reading he's realised that those tactics aren't working and will hopefully change things up.

I hope you are right however I can only see another defeat . If Derby are bad then we are worse, they will score first and we will get thumped!

My reasons are that I have not seen the slightest improvement in style or tactics when infact we should have at least seen some by now. The players lack so much confidence with it and this makes it worse.

The atmosphere in the stadium will be poor and the players can sense it . All in all there is far to much against us to even contemplate a win or draw.

If you are right I will look an idiot and I hope you are but I don't even feel the slightest bit happy about facing a confident Derby County.

I think I'll be positive as well and revise my prediction from a four nil defeat to a three nil defeat. I would love to be completely wrong, but I predict that this forum on Sunday morning will be full of fans slating Slade's tactics after another home defeat. I agree with the poster who thinks we will do well to take more than a point from our next three games.

Annis mate, I agree with you 100%. I think on Saturday, if he brings Peltier in at right back, if Manga is back and he goes straight into central defence alongside preferably Turner or Connolly, he starts with O'Keefe instead of Whittingham and he changes the formation of the team. Then I completely agree that we will win the game. But, the players AND the manager both must improve their performances greatly. Slade will have nowhere left to hide and finally he will have nothing left to blame. It's all down to him now, from here on out.

Annis, I am positive before every game (what's the point of going if not, eh?) and I believe we can beat any team on its day. We also have a tendency to do better against the top teams rather than the lower 'battlers'

My only concern is this 45 minutes good/45 minutes bad syndrome we appear to have caught. It isn't good, it isn't inpsiring for the paying supporters and it still smacks of Slade being well 'outsmarted' by his managerial opponents!

Fingers crossed we can put in 90 minutes this week and we will have a chance!

We have a good home record against Derby in recent years. Let's hope we can keep it that way!
