Well, I for one, am loving it at the City right now!!!

Back in our beloved blue, just the badge now and those seats painted blue.

Selling and cost cutting, signing players who can't get into their respective first teams, questionable formations and tactics, a precarious run of form and championship standing, just like the good old times, and now we are back in blue with a promise of a bluebird badge. My Cardiff is back and I loves it, shame we had to lose Ninian!!!!

Some fans think slade is doing the cost cutting, paying wages, transfer fees also Jon if you read some of the posts on here its all his fault :laughing6: when hes only working with what he's been told to spend and budget given. I think it's being spent wisely :bluescarf:

Quite unnerving reading the posts on here. Thought for a minute that I'd logged on to the messageboard of a lunatic asylum

Why because we are true supporters that couldn't care what league we are playing in who we are signing as long as they give 100% each game

Give me revell and Malone bet Half our overpaid pansies any day hard work and grit get you out of this league

If he gets that instilled with his own team by next year things will be a different story

Quite happy watching another 10 years of championship football

One of the best leagues in the world IMO

No idea how you can like this total shit at the moment. Agree with Colourblind on this one. Oh and I've been supporting since 89. At least then you knew what to expect then and players gave their all...most of the time. The club is rotten from top to bottom and the football is awful with the players totally uninterested.

Moaning before was understandable now I don't know what we have to moan about

I've never seen our fans turn on managers so quick as they have slade and solskjaer

Shows how many glory supporters we have

Worst thing is they are most hypocritical people ever moaning about debt yet moaning again cps tan ain't slashing the cash get a grip

This is how it is from now on money will only be spent on players with resale value and that's how it should be

Blend of youth and experience ready to start next season and I'm sure we'll fair far better than we are at present

Sorting the club out financially comes before a few season in the prem. The football has been dire but it was expected. When have we ever played flowing attacking football?????????.

We are in a better situation than we were 2 months ago. Winning in the red felt hollow but now ill enjoy going to games even if we lose.

if this cost cutting continues, its likely you'll get to revisit those good old days of mid table mediocrity. if you say you're happy with that, fair enough.

i suggest you take off the rose tinted specs.

Personally, I'd settle for mid table mediocrity in the Championship. but that just ain't gonna happen. A return to the dungeon beckons.

Blind Vision.
Teams, individuals in fact everyone should always strive to be the best they can at their chosen sport/employment etc, to be content and happy with mediocrity shows a lack of vision.
To be happy with the shambles on show for City each week is laughable, 1000's walk out at games now through boredom and frustration, playing in Blue doesn't change that it's still shite football.

No rose tinted specs here.

No blue no renew. I would take blue and a cost cutting cull for a more sustainable club and book balancing (which inevitably means a drop in quality on the pitch) EVERY TIME.

Over red with its soul sacrificing, EPL obsessed, extravagant transfer kitty and overpaid players, the representitive of all thats wrong with modern sport blah blah blah.

And after 3 years of protesting, battling my own loyalty, wingeing and cringing its all over and I AM LOVING IT. We were a championship club in blue before the rebrand and we are back there again.

I agree the football, tactics, formations, passion and intelligence on the pitch is as bad as I have seen it down the City (Jon Schwinkendorf, Cameron Toshack) and thats saying something. Yes there are still the wrong people in the boardroom, management and backroom staff at our awful stadium. And I for one let Slade and the players know my feelings from the stands!

But some of us have seen it before, and we still turn up to support the boys. But the biggest thing that was wrong - was the rebrand, that has been corrected, lets see if these other wrongs can be righted also, it truly is awful on the pitch at the moment, it will test our patience but stay loyal and we shall see. I would still rather Tan leave and another buyer come in, but am willing to give him a chance after his surprising reversal, which I am sure he was heavily advised to do.

I am grateful to have my passion back after this unexpected rebrand U turn and am ready to renew, even its Div 1. I was ready to chuck it in. Thats why I am loving it down the City right now. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

I agree with everything you say... apart from about Ninian... that place was falling down

Champ / League one next year and I'll be there. And more than happy to fork out for a new BLUE home jersey!

I agree with colourblind ,don't we want premier football ,top players and clubs coming here ,course we do we not a small outfit now ,we got to carry on thinking big

Myself personally am enjoying it way more now the rebrand has been reversed, the pride I feel for the team has increased tenfold. Next season teams in the Championship cannot spend over 60% of their income on players wages due to FFP rules being toughened up, so I'm all for the culling if it saves us from potential points deductions. And as for people moaning about the calibre of the new signings can we give them a run in the team first before slagging off their quality, get behind the team which have returned to Blue if you haven't noticed. And for the record there are definitely 3 worse teams than us in this division, this awful run of form will end soon but I cannot see us getting anywhere near the play offs unless we sign another striker and midfielder then we may have chance with 20 games to go. BLUEBIRDS

Not over bothered about Premier League. When you know who the top 5 and bottom 5 are before the season starts, I don't find that particularly exciting. The rest are just making up the numbers, and playing for mid table mediocrity. All the excitement in last weekends FA cup ties resulted in performances by non premier league sides. Our PL is beginning to look like the Scottish top division did for decades, when they had two teams and a load of no hopers.

And most away days in the prem are poor and expensive. I dont care if we never get back there. We may not be a small outfit and nneither are we big.

We're a Capital City, we've got a large catchment area, but fans seem to think we've reached the pinnacle of our potential as a mid to lower Championship team.
There's a team just down the road from us who are doing really well, their watching good football each week seeing their team pit it's wits against the best teams in the country and they're a smaller City than us with a smaller catchment area, I can't believe City fans are happy and contented to put up with hoofball and players not putting a shift in and managers and coaches seemingly clueless as to how to motivate players.
I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing to see the likes of Aguero, Costa, Sanchez and Fabregas play at the CCS.
Just because someone wants to see his/her team play against the likes of The Arse or Man City is not a sign of a plastic or a Johnny come lately. Commitment and endeavour, blood sweat and tears is all very good but there's no substitute for world class talent and skill.
I'd like to see us back in the Prem but this time to give it a real go and be better prepared and if anyone thinks I'm a plastic or a Johnny come lately I saw my first game in 1962 and have been supporting City ever since. When I started following City Dilwyn John, Gareth Williams and Graham Coldrick were regulars in the team so I've seen my fair share of shit football thank you, but the last few months have been amongst the worst performances I've ever seen from City teams.

People wanted the rebrand reversed but not the consequences.

Our fans have been spoilt brats since Sam came in, nothing is ever enough and expect money after money.

It's sad.

its a false economy to slash to budget that much as we are now far less likely to get promoted by buying lesser players. as tan knows himself, money is no guarantee of success but it certainly helps as shown in the 2012/13 season.

if you are paying £689 for a seat in the championship, i expect bang for my buck. your phrase "nothing is ever enough and expect money after money" could equally apply to the clubs attitude towards its customers / fan base (i use the terms interchangeably at CCFC), albeit with a recent welcome reduction in ticket prices in response to what would have been mass non-renewals.

You can see Aguero, Costa etc play on TV. You do realise when top players come to the CCS they won't jump into the crowd and say "alright mate how's it going". If we get back to the prem without going to debt then well done to us. But I don't want anyone loaning us millions.
