' Cardiff City goalkeeper to Return? '
Blackpool are currently locked into a battle with Joe Lewis parent club Cardiff City after attempting to terminate his contract with the Seasiders.
Lewis has so far featured in nearly all of the Seasiders games, before bizarrely being left out of the squad to face Watford, supposedly for 'tactical reasons'.
It was then revealed in several Sunday newspapers that Lewis had been left out of the squad as Blackpool were due to send their star man back to his parent club for financial reasons.
According to the Blackpool gazette, Cardiff City have rejected the request to immediately terminate the contract of Lewis, and he is not currently training with the Blackpool squad.
It is believed that as part of the loan agreement, Blackpool must oay a fee for Lewis after a certain number of games played for Blackpool, which looks to be a reason for his departure.
The departure of Lewis would leave Blackpool looking for another goalkeeper as currently only Lewis and Parish are on the books at I Bloomfield Road.
