Not sure about building an Academy in North Cardiff but they are running coaching sessions in Heath Park via their academy. They invited all the schools in Cardiff/Vale and clubs to put forward players for trials, some of which took place on Saturday at their training facility up the road from the Liberty Stadium. Why Cardiff cant offer the same opportunities is beyond me.

better that the 3 Welsh teams keep all the Welsh talent if possible, does it really matter which of the 3 academy's the young players play for so long as they are being properly nurtured to be the very best they can be :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

I agree to a point, & it doesn't seem that long ago that clubs like Bristol Rovers & Luton Town had a network of scouts in S. Wales, taking advantage of promising young footballers at the time.

Probably end up playing parks football, I've been hearing the same story for years, there are probably 10's of thousands of family's around the re thinking they have the next Bale, sadly 99.99% won't get anywhere.......
