Paul Coutts.

Derby's Paul Coutts has joined Sheffield Utd in a joint deal with Kieron Freeman. Why didnt we go for him? He has been one of Derbys best midfielders over the past few seasons. Yet another quality midfielder that would have been a brilliant acquisition for us. Im pretty sure that Coutts would have signed for us. Even though he's another player just like Brayford, who loved playing for and has a great friendship with Sheffield Utd boss, Nigel Clough. Another cracking midfield workhorse, who has all of the attributes that we currently require from potential new midfield signings. He was also a leader who would have been essential for us in midfield. Oh well we move on. Now, hopefully Leeds' Rodolph Austin is the midfielder who is close to signing for us by early next week.

Why would you be happy with rodolph austin? Hes hardly the high energy box to box creator we are crying out for is he?

We're probably trying to sign Paul Potts instead.

Because can play as a defensive midfielder and that is his best position. We need him to sit just in front of the back four as our Makelele. I also think we need to sign another central midfielder but we have Adeyemi as our box to box and high energy midfielder.

I think we need to sing a defensive midfielder and attacking creative midfielder. But an attacking creative midfielder is a much higher priority and austin and adeyemi do not fit the bill, that luongo fella does mind hope we are in for him
