There are lots of players being blamed for their recent performances for CCFC, yet why should we expect them to perform well with the current comedy duo of Young and Slade. When Scott Young played 3 or 4 players out of position against Bournemouth in the League Cup then publicly slated Guerra, he wasn't sacked, he was promoted to be Slade's assistant. Since then numerous players have been over-looked, sold or had contracts terminated and a lot of those players were some of our most creative or talented. Therefore, despite the fact that they are professional footballers can we as fans expect them to show their usual talents? They may be worried that if they appear too good they will be joining Daehli and co., plus we still have players out of position and an archaic 4 4 2 with very little possession. The fans can see the system isn't working and the players can see it as well, so why are we blaming the players? It must be hard for the players to perform mentally under these conditions, which may explain why they can only perform for part of a game. If it means that Slade and Young are sacked because of it, then I hope we are stuffed about 7 nil by Derby.

The players are to blame because there are getting paid loads of wages! But I think there to scared at the moment because Slade is getting rid of players left, right centre and they are not performing for him plus I think they know he's not good enough to manage them! Slade is just not cut up to manage our club!

I'm not sure anyone is blaming the players, they are probably trying their best, but a lot of us can see that too many of them are poor quality. That's a mistake of the management in buying/playing them. I certainly wouldn't blame any of our players but I despair at the football they play.
