Cardiff City sign ex Liverpool FC full back Lee Peltier from Huddersfield Town to replace departing John Brayford
Right back Lee Peltier has joined Cardiff City to replace John Brayford, who has left for Sheffield United
Cardiff City have signed former Liverpool full back Lee Peltier from Huddersfield Town.
On the day Kim Bo-Kyung and John Brayford left the club, Russell Slade was able to complete the deal for the right-back who joined Huddersfield from Leeds at the start of this season.
The 28-year-old England U18 international has joined for a nominal fee after the Bluebirds scooped nearly £2m from Sheffield United on the Brayford deal.
Right back Peltier had a spell playing for Slade at Yeovil, while on loan from Liverpool, in 2007, and is seen as a ready made replacement for Brayford.
A source close to the club revealed it was Brayford's choice to leave the Bluebirds after enjoying his loan spell at Bramall Lane last season.
