Cardiff City have terminated Kim Bo-Kyung's contract.

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Kim Bo-Kyung’s contract with the club has been terminated by mutual agreement. The player leaves Cardiff City with immediate effect.

We would like to thank Bo-Kyung for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future.




Cardiff City defender John Brayford has signed for League One side Sheffield United on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Brayford, who had a previous spell on loan with the Blades, has returned to Bramall Lane for a fee believed to be between £1.5 and £2m depending on add ons.

It won't be good at the end of the season if Le Fondre scores the goals to keep Bolton up and send us down! There is no question we are going backwards rapidly and could be in a relegation battle soon. Bolton are currently a point or two behind us, we are strengthening rival teams!

Slade is not bringing quality in so nothing is going to get better.

Thats all he can do as he does not give us anything else. He used to score goals and get assists on a regular basis, where are they now? If he was such a good passer he should be setting up more chances than he has done for the past few years. He has got to go.

I'm all for getting rid of dead wood, reducing wage bill etc. but f**k me this is ridiculous.

I don't care what anyone says Kimbo is a talent, the second half of our promotion season he was a class act, also at the beginning of last season in the Premier League he was in good form and showed his quality in the top division. I think he'd lost his way and his time was up with us but we could've 100% got some sort of fee, the guy has represented his country at Olympic and World Cup level, f*cking ludicrous!

I also agree about Le Fondre unless he's going on a permanent deal he should be made to fight for his place.

We need to be careful, I think it's all happening to quick. Our form and results at the moment are really worrying and I can't see it changing any time soon. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.

Thats only because he takes all of the pens and corners. He does not create anything hardly from open play. I just feel that we need a central midfielder that does more than just whip a good cross or corner in now and again, he needs to show a whole lot more than just that. His movement off the ball is poor, he gets outmuscled all the time, he is too slow and he does not have that energy and explosiveness that we need in the middle. I feel that because of his workrate that Adeyemi brings just as much to the side when he plays in midfield. I do think that Whitts just needs a new challenge and a fresh start as he has become very stale and the negatives far outway the positives, when you sit back and look at what Whitts really brings to the side these days.

Please tell me what system he plays in. In the past he's had two direct wingers to feed, the likes of Chopra and Rossco busting a gut to get in behind because they knew he would find them. The system is static and rigid, no movement with no ideas the majority of the time he has no choice than go sideways or backwards. We've seen the best of Whitts when he is given the freedom to create and get himself into positions where he can have a dig, this season he hasn't been able to do that because he's either played in a 2 man midfield with Gunnars (who is not a natural ball winner type) or has played in a 3 with Noone sitting infront of him.

He's scored one penalty from his five goals , the other 4 being long range strikes and 9 assists half way through a season just goes to show the quality he has from set pieces and open play .
