Don't think many people were, it didn't work out for him here and it has at Blackburn so good luck to him.

I was furious that he was sold.

He was shite and he is a mid championship player. Complete waste of money for any team wanting to panic buy in this window

If anything this just reassures me that he is going to end up world class.

Hilarious

Vast majority of the fans shafted rudy when he was with us. Granted he wasn't showing the same quality as he currently is at Blackburn but people booed him and jeered him when he was on the ball - not knowing enough about football to realise he did a decent job holding up the ball.

He wasn't clinical enough with his finishing and he needed to work on his touch - but rather than realise he was a young striker with plenty of time to improve, typical Cardiff fans jumped on him.

As far as fan support goes - it was a poisoness influence for Rudy as a young player and he needed to go. Malky made the right decision.

Glad he's proving the majority of muppets here wrong by smashing it for Blackburn and will probably go to a prem club for £5 mil - goes to show what patience does for you

Totally agree, i also wanted him to stay with us and get more starting opportunities. He was a young player and instead of our management staff working with him on certain aspects of his game. We sold him at the very first opportunity. I remember him in his trial spell before we signed him and i thought that with a good level of coaching, that he could become one of the best headerers that we have ever seen at the club. Yes, he did have a bad first touch but that could have been worked on.You could also tell that the direction in which most of his headers went that he needed a bit of help with that too, but i have never seen a player that could leap to the heights that Rudy could. I just think that we sold him to early and i am so glad for him for what he has achieved at Blackburn and good on him.

Bloooooobirds.

Should have been loaned out for the season, young and improving player who would always do a decent job in the championship if we were relegated.

Fancy putting a wager on it that if he gets a transfer to the Premier League during January that he won't score more than 5 goals by the end of the season ?

I'm torn between my opinion on Rudy and not wanting to agree with Adam Brown.

Adam, seriously, is that your answer to everything in the world? You seem incapable of actually debating a point and therefore take it upon yourself to try and place a wager with everyone. Well, I don't have money to bet at the moment regardless. Any bet is a gamble as Rudy may very well get clattered and injured in his first game.

If you're willing to do this though, I bet he will score 5 by the end of the season. If he doesn't I'll leave this forum. If he does, you leave this forum. Its up to you but I wont be betting money with anyone as at the moment I need to save up.

Maybe a better title would be..

Malky the first manager to take Cardiff City to the Premier League in over half a century.

I don't need to put my money where my mouth is to prove you wrong Adam. Time itself will do that.
