You got to laugh.

Sat Jan 24, 2015 10:56 am

We had the shifty red we all hated.
Over paid under achieving players.
Big money signings.
People moaning about our debt we owe tan.
The football wasn't the best then either.

NOW

We got blue back.
No big money players comming in.
Less wages being paid.
The debt will go down.
Tan will bail once the times rite clearly as all this is part of the cost cutting
Players comming in fighting for 90mins (hopefully)
Slades getting his own players in ( Two so far ) but lets sack him to fans are saying :laughing6:

and people are still moaning when its all being reversed to what they moaned about to start with.....ONLY AT CARDIFF CITY FOLKS.

I'm happy with all the changes and debt going down, no problem with the new direction. However I haven't seen anything in slade to suggest he can manage a football club, everything about him to me says amateur. Getting in a better manager will save us financially over time. Shame we got rid of Ardley.

Slade OUT.

There's nothing to moan about gav everything we moaned about originally is on route to be reversed or has been reversed already What did people expect sir Alex as manager, five million pound players on route and in blue but no debt at all. It's bonkers mun. :laughing6:

If our fan base want the entire UK to think we are even more of joke then let's carry on hope a manager is sacked after 3 months in charge, without even a window.

We are mid table. What's the big deal?????

I thought a lot of you went through the football in even lower leagues?. Was that better?.

Re: You got to laugh.

Sat Jan 24, 2015 11:47 am

Happy with all that to happen, as I have said from the start.... BUT under a competent manager, which For me, Slade isn't.

What us old gits expect is a manager who can manage, a manager who doesn't talk drivel, a manager who doesn't listen to the old boys ccfc network and play the same players week in week out who have been at the club for over 4 years and and are now useless in this league, a manager who doesn't need to bring in his own players who played for him before in lower leagues because he has no knowledge of other players or the enthusiasm or know how to get them to ccfc.

It's not alot to ask and there are plenty of non-Sir Alex's who could install a winning mental attitude and bring in decent 'cost efective'' players.

He was a PE teacher in Nottingham, he shows all the attributes of one - stand around, do very little, know very little and expect everything from others.

That is not moaning, that is how it seems. :old:

I'm quite happy with it all,no expectations, let's see what happens.
I think we have all been spoilt over the last few years,4 Wembley trips Premier league ,play offs.
Let's get back to reality ,Vincent Tan backed us didn't come off he was ripped off by a manager he trusted then let down by a famous name all on advise from other people.
So now it's cost cutting lowering debt back to blue,I can live with all that.
Slade may not be famous a bit old school and out of his depth, the two players he has fetched in so far seem grafters,so you never know it may turn out ok.
Anyway if it all goes tits up,still better than shopping with your misses on a Saturday afternoon.

He a only got two of his own players in though chucks malky didn't get judged on two players or did ole. Plus most think he's here to nod and do as tan says. Again this boils down to cost cutting and a manger that will do and say as Hes told otherwise we would have a better on paper manager imo. As the saying goes you get what you pay for in most cases we are paying for over paying in the past. It's how it is now people need to get that on-board.you can't have it all.

I agree, but he had a pretty good squad at his disposal already. Plus look at the likes of Rowett at Brum..... Not his squad, but he's been able to work with them and take them from the bottom to above us at the minute!

Good squad on paper it seems but on the pitch there not even before slade come. I never wanted slade either TAN did and there's a reason behind it as we all know which is what's going on now .

A manager like malky who played his son most weeks or played the same team yet people moaned about him never changing sides hardly or ole who changed the side weekly and didn't know his best team. Both managers signed players from old clubs or have worked with then in the past to. It was them pair who left what slade has to sort out yet after Two yes Two players lets write him off as fans :laughing6:

Does rowett have his own staff in place? Genuine question as I don't know the answer. I think slade taking on staff that aren't his is not helping one bit, it's like cutting off an arm, no one to 100% trust and confide in and the staff don't know the ins and out of how slade works.

It's like judging a player on the pitch playing in steal toe cap builders boots each week.

I wrote him off well before he started putting his toe in the transfer market and off-loading unwanted, untried better players.

I put £20 on his dismissal before 1 December, he's hanging around like a bad smell, he can bring in who he likes but that won;t change my mind about him - the players he brings in might change my mind about the team and their apathy for delivering results!

Thats your opinion but you say " Slade offloaded unwanted better players " do you really think slade wants to sell his best players thats the whole point in COST CUTTING thats what tan is doing how else can we not cost cut if the so called better players who wasnt performing anyway in truth are still here and my whole point. Like you said the players he brings in might change your mind with results thats something nobody knows yet as hes only signed TWO of his own players.

I can not get my head around the fact we are cutting costs and people are saying slade is getting rid of them as if he pays there wages

Re: You got to laugh.

Sat Jan 24, 2015 1:57 pm

No manager chosen by tan will ever be accepted by some of our fans they would like to choose manager themselves then they would still moan and sack him within months you've got what you wanted blue back and I think tan is gathering in as much as he can cutting the debt paying out less and selling. This is what fans want tan out so now we have to pay the price

you forgot to mention the fact that the ticket prices are roughly at the mid range for a premier league club.

and the fact that as the budget is being cut to the level that it will be very difficult for slade to mount a meaningful promotion challenge in the next season or two.

The tickets are on par with other championship clubs also the family tickets are very reasonable
