I have no problem whatsoever with our club trying to achieve a sound financial footing so it can work on its own income streams and not be reliant on a benefactor to subsidise our spending and running costs.

I am fine with the honesty of Russell Slade and accept that it is a transitional period for the club given the fact we are shopping at a lower level.

But let’s also be totally blunt about it... the product that is being served up is nowhere near as good as it should be, compared to the price our supporters pay to watch it.

The football is Aldi or Lidl at best ... let's at least hope for Tescos

totally agree, this is not just a complaint from Cardiff City fans, it's from all fans at Premier League & Championship level. The £20 mark is what I would consider to be fair to the fans and the clubs at Championship level, £30 PL

One way to stop the great football rip-off is to introduce a wage cap, works in the NFL and the penalties are severe if you break it.

Is Kenwyynne Jones on 38k a week? If so, thats just short of 2M p/a.

Two mill a year for that.......a remarkable amount for an unremaaarkable player.

Football is far to expensive in this country compared to Spain Germany ect.

It's no good blaming slade when he's playing the same players as the last manager as there not his players who are clearly under performing just like before slade come and a massive player overall is what's needed clearly and that's what tan wants to do so that's what a happening.

The club have brought out some excellent prices but could have gone much further in my opinion.

They could have offered the existing season ticket holders an even bigger saving giving them a month to sign up
before coming out with this new one and all it's add ons. Especially as most of us have paid over the odds this season.

If there is a significant decrease in sales they probably will make another offer?

However I would have preferred a cull with the likes of Hughton, Pulis, Clarke etc in charge.

As pointed out Norwich have not and Fulham are struggling with the demands of the Championship

I'd have preferred another but this is all part of the cost cutting with slade being here imo otherwise a higher profile manager would be here I think.

I think top six is gone gone and its about slade getting his own team before next season starts. Yep well I for one have had enough of people at the top knowing fk all about football and bring in Managers that are nt up to the Job. They bring in Ole to try to keep us in the prem , wrong move, then they bring in another guy that has never managed a team in the championship . Now we are selling our best players, this is like the old bad times are coming back again.

When I buy my 4 season tickets its cos I love to watch football and winning is a bonus ,but when we are playing shit football and and cant even buy a win ,its all too much for me. I love my club with a passion ,even singed myself out of hospital after having a heart attack so I wouldn't miss a game . I want to see a good game of football , not bloody hoofball . I wont be renewing my 4 season tickets till this club is run by people who know what there doing .

we pay premier league football prices for average to mediocre championship football. the prices will be reduced next season, but by how much? it has to be at least 10-15% to have any effect.

i think it will be by a token amount, which will not stem the flow of fans who will not renew because of poor football and because its going to be a tough time for the club in the next season or two.

This is the way Tan is going to make us pay for returning to Blue. Give us a 1st Division manager and players that just MAY! keep us up, But wont take us up.

I spotted Russell in Argos earlier on looking for a bargain.

RS usual soundbite. Not shopping in Harrods eh? Well if you've ever lived in central London and shop there, you'll find its for the distastful tourists and not the locals, as it's just for the Harrods badge. That said, I imagine that when VT is in town he pays visit. And then decides to buy our manager in the 'value' section in the Tesco just up the road. What a mess. Should never have been like this.
