Peltier will be the best

Fri Jan 23, 2015 7:09 pm

Imo Peltier will be the best right back ( if slade plays him there ) since Mark delaney. Ive always rated him, big, strong and gets forward from what I've seen of him over the years hes quick to. I've no idea why people are moaning about this transfer.

I've spoken to a lot of Leeds fans and huddersfield they said its good at defending but can't play any football aT all.

Probably a good thing as we don't play much football.

Would rather super kev back

Only concern is he hasn't featured much since November so will he be short of fitness?

In summary then - he can't play any football at all & he's short of fitness?
Get a few lessons of booting the ball high up the pitch from Turner & he should fit right in then!

Finally, somebody talking sense. I have always rated him too, yes he has not had the best of the last two years but he has been from Club to Club during that spell. Leeds signed him from Leicester then after a while of playing regular as their captain, he went out on loan to Forest then he went back to Leeds, then back to Huddersfield as their captain. Before those two years he was one of the top 3 right full backs in the Championship, with Kieran Trippier and Jack Hunt. If we sign him and he settles here and plays weekly he will become a very good player for us. I also think that he will become a crowd favourite for the way that he plays the game. I think that he is a very good replacement for Brayford and especially for the cheap price. Also, we have been wanting to sign more leaders for our side and he is definitely one of them. Hopefully, we can bring a few more in. A couple in central midfield would be ideal.

Good at defending, is what we need not a ball player, we are leaking goals, he sounds just what we need !!!

We are going to have a big back 4. Should be an end to seeing full backs beaten at the far post and even more set piece threat. However we will now have even less pace at the back.
If Peltiet is mentally tough and experienced then that's also a big plus.

Hear hear pal. People moaning because we ain't signing big money players are the same ones notching over tan daily. I'm done with all that. Now we got our blue back its time to support the manager and team whoever he signs yet he's on signed TWO players are people want him out when he was left with the same under performing shit from the previous manager. 100% players giving there all is all I want no matter what there name is or where there signed from.

I've always thought he was a decent full back to be fair. Fingers crossed he turns out to be a good cheap addition. :bluescarf:

Totally agree. In fact, I am finding it quite refreshing for us to be back down to earth and bringing these sort of players in for sensible fees and wages. As Cardiff fans, 100 per cent is all we used to ask for from the players. We need to give Russell Slade our backing, he's a decent bloke and he may just have the remedy for this club. I have been uncomfortable with big money signings and wages since Sam first started splashing 'his' money and paying over-inflated prices for players on big wages, which ultimately set us on this disastrous financial spiral that sees us where we are today. Good luck Russell Slade and let's hope City fans remember who were are, have pride in their team and get behind the lads :bluescarf:
