Apparently a few city players were out on the piss and playing pool last night having a farewell do for Brayford
Was told tonight that both Brayford and Maynard are leaving and although we got little Joe Mason back he's injured
If this is true it's a f*cking joke IMO

Yes it sucks that people should have a life off the pitch, they should all be made to wear a chain with a football attached to it 24 hours a day......Get real

Yes they are only human beings, and yes they deserve a life and yes they deserve some down time, but the state on some of the lads especially when they had training the next morning was dispicable.
My point was surely they shouldn't be getting hammered when the should be concentrating all their energy on training and improving fitness / performances.
I hope Humpty Dumpty put them through their paces

I'm with you, the amount players are paid to be athletes they should be able to stay off the booze til after the season has finished. They are athletes at the end of the day, paid ridiculous amounts of money to be in tip top condition.

players are extremely well paid to be in peak physical condition to be able to do their job to the best of their ability.
this is not the 1980's, players shouldn't drink alcohol during the season IMO. you wouldn't see an olympic athlete drinking alcohol, and to me footballers are no different.
