what ever happened to that money i want to know

look at all the players we had that would have been on big money and had big signing on fees.

we would have lost money on daehli, cala, berget, eikrem (if he's still here), plus big signing on fees for people like caulker, medel and co.

sacking two managers also costs a huge amount of money.

bonuses and increased wages to the players already here due to the initial promotion.

and now we have a bloated squad of high earners which will cost huge money to service.

I've spent a fair bit of time in Rome over the years, and SS Lazio are my second club. Unfortunately, we are nowhere near as big as them. They have a massive fan base. I've never seen a city where football dominates as much as in Rome. AS Roma have an even bigger fan base!

I really worry for the human race. Those three clubs regularly compete in Europe with crowds much larger than ours and have bigger revenue. Absolutely insane.
