A forum for all things Cardiff City

The Walesonline posted a great article last night by Paul Abbandonato about the current plight we are in and the last 7 matches comparison between Ole and Slade makes for interesting reading.
Little question Slade is out of touch with modern day tactics and cant inspire the team to play but it'll be interesting to see how long he is given, given the form he's in got Ole the sack.

You can sum Ole v Slade up easily.
Ole was working on builing something for the future of football at Cardiff City.
Slades working on destroying quality football Cardiff City

Sadly this is true I said to my son last night Slade is far worse than Ole however I do feel the players have to take some blame too we blame managers this season and we have had Ole Scot Young & Gabby p[lus Slade and it is the same so maybe
Slade is getting rid of them and bringing his own players in and then we can judge better as the players now look un interested bar a few

I think us fans need to take a look at ourselfes and what we want.
Ole was building something for the future and it takes time. He didn`t even get to settle the players he bought in the second transfer window before he got sacked.
So apparently we dont like managers who try to build a strong foundation to build on, we got rid of him.
Then 2 former heroes takes over. They knew the club, knew many of the players and they failed even worse than Ole.
Then we move on and get in Slade. The manager we all whined to get. Someone who has spent his whole career in Champ/League 1. He knew this shit and would show Ole how it`s done.
Afterall, Ole just didn`t know that you needed to be physical in this League.
Surprise surprise, we sacked the one who were building something for this moron.
The only thing Slade is good at is to give the players all the blame for the bad results. Atleast Ole was man enough to say that he was the one to blame for not getting his philosophy through quick enough.

Slade > Solksjaer.
He's being forced to sell the tripe that Ole brought in on inflated wages and it's hard to build a side when the owner is cutting costs. I feel for him but Slade should do better.
Ole though was an absolute clown who wasted over £20m.

What philosphy? Ole had about 15 different formations and completely baffling team selections. His transfers are terrible at best and crooked at worst.
Ole was an absolute turnip and Slade deserves time to sort out the mess he was left.
